California Proposition 65

California Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to California consumers when a product may expose them to chemicals listed by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

A Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean that a product is unsafe or violates applicable safety or health standards. The warning is provided to comply with California’s right-to-know law.
